Overjam International Reggae Festival celebrates its seventh edition this year with a crucial change of date. This time Overjam will not take place in August as per previous years, but instead from 10th to 15th of July, but in the same beautiful location in Tolmin, close to the Slovenian National Park of Triglav.
Jamaican stars Ziggy Marley and Protoje alongside The Indiggnation band are the first headliners to be announced by the organisers, in addition to New Kingston, OBF feat. Sr. Wilson & Charlie P, Northern Lights, Mellow Mood, Paolo Baldini Dubfiles, Awa Fall aka Sista Awa, Moa Anbessa, Benny Page, Warrior Sound, Ma’Gash, Asher, Coxsone Sound, Brother Culture, Kings HiFi, Leo Sanson, Umberto Echo, Ziggi Mastah, Dubtafari Sound and many more to be confirmed.
Tickets are already on sale at this link. Due to popular demand, this year’s full ticket will cost €155 and include all of the following extras: 5 days of programming, 7 days of camping, plus unlimited use of mobile phone charging points, warm showers, toilets, safety deposit box, festival info book, paycard system fee and deposit and earplugs. Entry only tickets cost €120 and daily tickets are on sale for July 12th – date of Ziggy Marley show – at 29€.
In short, it will be possible to enjoy a week’s holiday at the rhythm of reggae on the banks of the Tolminka and Soča rivers since the campsite will be open from the 8th until the 15th. The programming will start on the 10th and 11th with DJs and sound systems, while the concerts will be from the 12th to the 14th.
