The new video for the single taken from their forthcoming album – ‘Red’
In anticipation of the second album by the Wicked Dub Division with Michela Grena, entitled Red, the band presents Freedom – the new single & video release.
The track is intended as an anthem to the courage of all those who fight for the freedom of future generations, fathers and mothers seemingly submissive to the forces of their masters for the good of their children “That freedom is a silent struggle that has lasted for centuries and which unfortunately still persists among the workers for the rich on exploited and abused lands. The workers bent but intact, precious, indispensable, untouchable and immortal souls” says Michela Grena, author of the song.
The video, directed by Luca Bragagnolo , interpreting the lyrics of the song calls for an awareness of the situation of the working class in this globalised world, slaves and warriors of our time.
The album Red, scheduled for release on March 22nd, 2016, will be the second album released by the Wicked Dub Division with vocals by Michela Grena following on from Dub Drops (2015) which included the song New Slavery – winner of the critics award at Amnesty International Italy’s “Voices for freedom” contest.
