Sardinian band Riptiders present their first recorded work: Vol.1. An album rich with reggae sounds that stands out for its originality and creativity in expressing concepts that of our times. Defined by the singer in these six Italian and two English songs which together form the album along with the dub version created by the same producer ‘Antonio ‘PapaN’tò’ Leardi.
Vocalist & songwriter Marco Serra describes the album as “a snapshot of our times, immersed in a society that while seeming to move fast is in reality is probably more fixed than ever. A reality that leaves us feeling apprehensive and inadequate, feelings which counteract refuge in the intimate and the intent to make things better with our own hands, if you have the chance to find the courage to do it”.
Vol.1 release is accompanied by the video for track Immobile which is the third single following on from Fall And Rise (May 2017) and Non Ho Maschera (November 2017).
This album, made possible thanks to the hugely successful campaign ran on crowdfunding platform Musicraiser, and is available now to buy on all digital platforms, or on CD at the band’s live shows.
