Hailing from Venice band Patois Brothers present the video for their song Switch off Babylon, taken from their latest album entitled Wise&Wild. Proving a great success with critics and audiences alike, the album has been opening doors for the band on the international scene.
The single critiques the control of and manufacturing of TV news and its questionable sources, a symbol of misinformation thanks to which Babylon enters the homes every day, creating confusion and blurring reality. The constant use of so many screens in our homes causes us to conform to Babylon’s norms and lose sight of what is really important, or simply leads us on the wrong path. “With Switch off Babylon we want to remind our fans of the importance of turning off television,” explain the Patois Brothers.
