Twelve years after their debut, Rootical Foundation present their fifth studio album – Still Learning. The Italian band show an even more distinct and mature sound, thanks to the collaboration with producer Princevibe who brings fresh artistic direction to this work.

Still Learning has eight tracks (plus an intro and an instrumental interlude) representing the different nuances of the band’s style, refined after years of studio experience and live performances. The nod to original Roots Reggae is strong, and sits perfectly with the fresh and contemporary sounds, in full Reggae Revival style.

The album includes three collaborations: track Heroes features MisTilla – the voice of Tuscan band ‘Earth Beat Movement’, while singer Naima, from Nu-Soul Funk band ‘Black Beat Movement’ features on Pirates Anthem, single that anticipated the album, and finally Acsel of ‘Reggae Rebel Band’ in My Way.

Inspired by current events and personal reflections, the lyrics deal with various themes from the celebration of reggae culture and independent music, to the protection of the environment and, in the title track, the circle of life as actual journey upon which we grow and continue to learn.

As the band says: “The title, ‘Still Learning’ is symbolic of the corner we have turned by putting our faith in a producer of this caliber. Princevibe has been able to bring out our best, and continues to teach us”.

Still Learning’ is available at the band’s concerts and in digital format on all platforms courtesy of distributor’s ‘Soulfire Artists’.
