Sister Julie presents the EP Heart Dub It, with four songs taken and dubbed from her album Heart Feel It. Produced and mixed by two reggae veterans, one of the US pioneers of the genre, Rocker-T, and the keyboardist of Steel Pulse and producer Sidney Mills, features the collaborations of the Jamaican veteran Sister Carol and Rocker-T himself, in addition to the harmonies of the Canadian Zahira.

Recorded live at Jah Levi’s Folklorica Records studio, using both analog and digital gear, this roots reggae dub EP has one of a kind sound featuring dynamic drums, heavy bass, reverb, delay and effects, joining the vocals of the American singer herself and her guests.

Dub Medley combines three of Sister Julie’s songs that are woven together as one tune. This heartfelt medley features the inspirational messages and driving vocals of Sister Carol and Rocker-T.

Dub Forward is colored with rich harmonies and tasteful horn lines upon a tight rhythm section. Uniting with Sister Julie, Rocker-T brings his lyrical fire full strength with the universal message is to keep moving forward regardless of life’s challenges.

Sister Dub is an anthem to remind us to love and respect mama earth, ourselves, and each other. The powerful voice of reggae veteran Sister Carol celebrates alongside Sister Julie the feminine entity in all living things in a great salute to all the sisters and mothers worldwide.

Here We Dub Again features Zahira’s angelic harmonies in a deep roots reggae dub loaded with drums, percussion and Nyahbinghi. The message is about how certain people repeat history by destroying each other without regard for life or universal human rights.
