Everybody wants to go to Jamaica. This is the message launched by the Italian band Quartiere Coffee on the third single of their new album, to be released next spring. In Jamaica is accompanied by a video that includes many friends of the band from various parts of the world and represents the beginning of the collaboration between Quartiere Coffee and the Redgoldgreen Label, under which the album will be released.
In Jamaica is about reggae, sun, sea and weed, but it also wants to express that there is something more to the island. With centuries of history, a mixture of cultures and ethnicities, it’s an interesting place to visit and live: from the Blue Mountains to Montego Bay, the dancehalls sessions and sound systems, the Jamaica of Miss Lou and Usain Bolt…
We already know the songs We are and Sometimes, included in their next album and produced by Paolo Baldini and ‘Ciro ‘Princevibe’ Pisanelli. While waiting for the full album, the single In Jamaica will be available in free download within the compilation that Redgoldgreen Label will publish this Christmas.
