Successfully completed the seventh edition of the Slovenian festival
The seventh edition of the Overjam International Reggae Festival came to an end on 15th July and the dates for 2019 have already been announced. Tolmin (Slovenia) was infused with reggae vibes in various forms from Monday 9th, when the first revellers reached to take advantage of the pre-party, until the culmination the following Saturday night.
Highlights of this year’s edition included performances by great artists such as Ziggy Marley, Protoje, Macka B, Mellow Mood and New Kingston but also by the variety of the musical offering: more than 50 artists have made appearances on the Main Stage, Dub Area and Dancehall and stage on the beach.
There have been also various workshops, activities for children, yoga, percussion and dancehall classes on offer which proved to be very popular with the crowd. Numerous people also attended the sessions at the Overjam University, held on the beach by the writer, journalist and DJ David Katz and featuring Paolo Baldini, Mellow Mood, Macka B, Italee and Israel Voice.
The organisers are already at busy with preparations for the eighth edition which will return from the 15th to the 18th August 2019, The first tickets are now on sale exclusively on the MH Shop website at the special price of 80 € + booking fee. This offer is especially for the most committed fans and is only available until 31st August when general presales will become available.
