Jungle King, the artist from the Ivory Coast and raised in Italy, presents the new self-produced single Jungle King inna Babylon, with accompanying video filmed in Florence.
The singer and composer describes how he uses his lyrics to explain his point of view on growing racism in the Western world: “After my long observation and experience in Europe I realised that it is true that there are racist people, but these people are frequently used as dangerous and unwitting weapons by the political and extremist right-wing (Babylon system). For example, when some extreme right-wing politician claims that migrants are criminals, coming to steal work and bring illness, ignorant people believe it and act accordingly with hatred towards foreigners.”
For this reason, Jungle King wanted to show his pride in Africa with his new single, and send out two messages: one to Africans to fight for their rights and another to Westerners to free themselves from ignorance, to know about the past and with this in mind not to make the same mistakes of the past and instead to accept their neighbours regardless of the color of their skin or their nationality.
Jungle King Inna Babylon, features female vocalist Nicole Flachi and solo guitar by Giacomo Ballerini and was recorded, mixed and mastered at Charleston Studio in Florence, the tune is available to download now from all digital stores. The video, directed by Paolo Santangelo, is also available on Jungle King’s YouTube channel.
