Sardinian band Train To Roots releases the first single in anticipation of what will be their new, seventh album. Denaro is the signal that many have eagerly awaited: the return to the roots reggae that began their 15 year history.
Antonio Leardi, producer and keyboardist, explains: “The lyrics do not stage the classic rhetoric on modern capitalism but deal with the psychological drift to which all those who identify with richness and power as their life purpose are subjected. a drift that leads to selfishness, intolerance and fear of the poor and poverty itself ”.
Train To Roots fulfill the implicit promise and meaning of their name by directing the train towards the foundation of reggae music but also to their land: via roots reggae sung in Sardinian and Italian. This single therefore represents the first stop on this promising new journey.
After a necessary break to work on the new album, the band is now ready for their next tour – with the first dates already confirmed.
