Recently formed B.O.E.M. present their debut album: a reinterpretation of roots reggae music through ten original tracks enriched with stories and experiences.

Ten songs that capture the value of lyrics and melody in a folk music style, speaking of suffering, affairs of the heart, escaping the past, unity and the desire to be the ‘new people’ – to be those who live life in the moment.

The aim is to give space to the vibration of the word through songs, of yearning, freedom or simple love. Combine the ballads of Kenny Rogers and Roger Miller, with the musical feel of artists such as Beres Hammond and Freddie McGregor, all sung from the soul. There are palpable nods to both Sam Cooke and Bob Marley himself, but in a contemporary reggae style.

The album was recorded by Ohm Guru at Loris Ceroni’s Le Dune Studio (Italy), mixed at Alborosie’s Shengen Studio in Kingston, Jamaica and mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Mastering Studio, Boston USA.

The album B.O.E.M. is available on all platforms in digital and CD format.
